Proven protection
The effectiveness of Poll-Tex® was tested by the Charité hospital in Berlin. Poll-Tex® showed a high level of effectiveness in blocking airborne pollen.
- Nearly all birch and grass pollen were prevented from entering a room, with filtration rates of approximately 99% and 100%, respectively.
- Small nettle pollen were almost completely blocked (93%) when a window was fitted with Poll-Tex® filter.
- The material also stopped 91% of ambrosia pollen effectively.Â
Based on these results, this material is well-suited to provide effective protection for allergy sufferers against outdoor pollen.
